Lovely Comillas-Etejo, Teacher

Ms. Lovely’s journey in education started in the UAE where she worked as a learned assistant. Even though her time ended there because she wouldn’t work on Saturdays, she is thankful for the experience. It taught her a lot, helped her grow, and strengthened her faith in God. Following this position, Ms. Lovely was blessed with the opportunity to teach at a Seventh-day Adventist School in Thailand. Over the years, every class has been a learning experience. Ms. Lovely is still learning and growing as a teacher, she states “I genuinely see teaching as more than a job-it’s a calling, a way to serve God by guiding children not just academically but also in character and faith.” Teaching in another country can be challenging at times, but she reminds herself that God is with her. His guidance provides courage, patience and joy in the classroom. Ms. Lovely recently started teaching at RAE and looks forward to continuing to grow professional and spiritually.

Ms. Lovely’s greatest joy is seeing students discover their talents, develop good values, and grow in faith. She hopes to inspire them to learn, explore, and serve God and others with love, curiousity and integrity.
